I’m a Converse wearing mama, wife, and Relationship & Intimacy Mentor who believes there’s a pretty big gap between what we’re taught about romance and what it actually takes to build a healthy, lasting relationship.
And I didn’t come to that realization from a textbook.
Like most long term couples, my husband and I have had seasons when connection came easily and seasons when we had to be much more intentional about it. Along the way, I started realizing just how many relationship skills we’re simply expected to know.
How to communicate what we need. Navigate conflict. Maintain intimacy. Understand our own bodies. Stay connected as life changes.
That gap is why I do this work.
